Email Settings

These email options control emails sent out from the panel application only. They are independent from any other applications.

Email Settings

From name
The From: name that emails are sent from. Default: Warden

From address
The From: address that emails are sent from. Default: root@www.example.com

Locale
The default language of the application.
Default: Auto Detect

To address
The To: address that emails are sent to. Default: Plesk administrative email

File data set limit
The default data limit for file based data sets.
Default: 25

Email Transport Settings

Driver
The mail transport method to use when sending email.
Default: PHP mail

PHP mail params
This option can be used to pass additional flags as command line options to the program configured to be used when sending mail, as defined by the sendmail_path in the plesk control panel PHP configuration setting (PHP mail driver).

SMTP hostname
The full hostname of the mail server your want to send through (SMTP driver).
Default: PHP mail

SMTP port
The SMTP port number (SMTP driver).
Default: PHP mail

SMTP encryption
The SMTP encryption method (SMTP driver).
Default: None

SMTP username
The SMTP username to use if the server requires authentication when sending email (SMTP driver).

SMTP password
The SMTP password to use if the server requires authentication when sending email (SMTP driver).

SMTP timout
The period in seconds to wait before the connection times out (SMTP driver).
Default: 15

Email Template Settings

Enabled
This option allows you to enable or disable the selected email template.
Default: 1

Priority
The email priority.
Default: Normal

Subject
The email subject line.
Default: Normal

Body
The email body. Note: Every email sent from the application will be sent in both HTML and Text based format. The HTML version is automatically "marked down" to produce the text based version.
Default: Normal

Email Template Parameters

Every email template has parameters that can be used and are automatically replaced in both the email subject and body.
