# Getting Started

## Configure the Extension Interface Language

Most of the non-english language files are currently machine translated. You can change the interface language under `Settings -> Application Settings -> Locale`. We are currently looking for translators to fix any of the errors in the translations. If you are a native speaker of the language and want to help out then open a support ticket though our [client area](https://www.danami.com/clients/supporttickets.php). **Volunteers will get a free license for every Plesk extension that they help translate.**

### Get a Web Risk API key

> > > > > The Web Risk API is free for up to 100,000 API calls per month. Domain checking in Sentinel is entirely optional. It just adds additional external monitoring of your domains for malware.

1. Enable Web Risk API by logging into the [Google Developers Console](https://console.developers.google.com/).
2. Login using your Google account and `Create a new Project`, unless you already have one created. Add a project name and click on the `Create` button (wait a few moments after you click the create button to load your project, otherwise you can manually select it).
3. Make sure that [billing is enabled for your Cloud project](https://cloud.google.com/billing/docs/how-to/verify-billing-enabled) even if you plan to use less than 100,000 calls per month on the free tier. The Web Risk API key will not work without billing enabled.
4. Select `API Library`.
5. Search for the `Web Risk API`, access it and click on the Enable button.
6. Next click on `Credentials` from the left panel.
7. Select the `Create credentials` drop-down, then choose API key.
8. Copy the provided key and paste it into `Sentinel Anti-malware` -> `Settings` -> `Domain Monitoring` > `Web Risk API key` field.
9. Go to `Sentinel Anti-malware` -> `Domains` and select all your domains then press the "check" button to check if any of your domains are blacklisted.

More information can be found at: <https://cloud.google.com/web-risk/>

You can choose who gets domain monitoring alerts under `Tools & Settings` -> `Notifications` -> `Sentinel Anti-malware domain monitoring alert`

## Enable Third Party Anti-virus Signatures

Sentinel supports adding **free** third party anti-virus signatures to ClamAV. This is optional but recommended as it will greatly enhance ClamAV's detection of malware.

1. Navigate to `Sentinel Anti-malware -> Settings -> Anti-virus Settings -> Signature Providers`.
2. Enable the `Interserver` signature provider.
3. Press the update button on the page then the restart button to restart the Anti-virus signature service. You can view the signature download logs under `Sentinel Anti-malware -> Logs -> Signature log`.
4. Once the new signatures have been downloaded to the `/var/lib/clamav/` directory they will be loaded into ClamAV within the hour. You can press the Signature reload button on the dashboard or issue the command `clamdscan --reload` if you want to load them earlier.
5. Important: Remember to disable automatic quarantine under Quarantine Settings -> Quarantine hits when first enabling any third party signatures so that you can work out any false positives.

## Run a scan

> > > > > Make sure when running your first scan that automatic quarantine is disabled so that you can work out any false positives.

1. Navigate to `Scan` tab then select all server from the domain dropdown.
2. Press the scan button to scan the path for malware.
3. After the scan is complete you can view the report under the `Reports` tab. Click on malware hits to view what was detected.
4. If malware was found you can choose to quarantine it by clicking on the `Actions` tab when clicking on the scan report.
